I have a mix of stuff to present that I've purchased from Asian groceries and online retailers. These days, it is hard to keep your morale up with all of the things going on in 2020, but getting some cool foods and snacks from far off places is always a boost for me. Halloween wasn't over yet when I started this post, but boy, all the Christmas stuff is already up for sale in many places. Scroll down to check out the goodies!

Myojo instant yakisoba noodles (not a soup noodle). This came in a package of five noodle blocks and they're not bad, but a little light on the yakisoba flavouring. Each noodle block comes with a little packet of powdered yakisoba sauce, but I think more sauce powder needed to be included.

Pikachu potato chips from Japan. They're supposed be electrifyingly strong with a black pepper hit.
Koikiya brand Evangelion potato chips from Japan. These were a soy sauce type flavour. Not bad, but I do find Asian potato chips more greasy than a bag of Lays which tend to be less greasy and crisper.
Curry flavoured chips from Cadina in Taiwan. I was hoping these would have a nice and strong curry flavour, but it was pretty mild.
Two kinds of furikake rice sprinkles from Japan to top your white rice with. You can use them for anything including rice balls or some other starch, but rice is the best.
Nice fizzy sour lemon flavour hard candies.

I'll have to do a review of these noodles in the future. These are the tonkotsu air-dried noodles from Nissin Hong Kong. The flavouring has improved since they have added a sauce packet to supplement the dried powdered soup base.
Instant miso soup from Japan. Miso soup and rice with and egg for breakfast is yum!
Myojo Tonkotsu ramen. Five packages of air dried noodles. This soup is pretty good. It isn't the most flavourful, but it is pretty decent. I like this one better than the Nissin tonkotsu shown later. The Tonkotsu ramen from Hong Kong is the most flavourful out of the three on this page.
Smokey bacon and cheese corn chips from Koikeya. These weren't bad, but they could have used a stronger flavouring.
Morinaga yogurt chews that are ramune flavoured with little chunks of the fizzy soda candy in them. Addictive!
Pretz biscuit sticks that are smoke cheese flavour from Japan. I didn't realize that Pretz had shrunk their sticks so they are half as thick as they used to be, but they are nice and crisp, and easy to chew. The flavouring of these Pretz is AWESOME! So good.
Rice crackers from Taiwan. Nice little mini crackers. I've tried the soy sauce ones and they are good.
Wierd little puffed potato strips. These are okay and they kind of melt in your mouth if you don't crunch them down fast.
La Belle Chaurienne Duck Cassoulet from France. This is a classic French dish with beans, veggies, and duck meat. I'm going to wait for a cool fall day and try it for lunch. Reviews for many of the authentic canned cassoulets are usually quite good, and it is a dish I want to try. Check out some French RCIR reviews of the cassoulet meals on Youtube. This isn't cheap at $10 a can, but Amazon itself was selling it (SCORE!) so it included shipping. I've never bought food from a 3rd party Amazon seller as the prices are almost always inflated some crazy amount.

Papadopoulos biscuits from Greece. I found these in the international section of the supermarket near me. These are just a sweet biscuit, but it sure brings back memories from when I lived in Athens, Greece.
Black Sesame Biscuits from Taiwan. These are quite firm and crisp and make for a nice little snack as they come in packets with 2 biscuits each. I quite like these.
I picked these up to try. The chocolate peanut butter wafers were kind of appealing and they weren't bad, but I think they could have used a bit more of a peanut buttery ooomph. The KIND minis aren't bad and I'm still working through them, but they were very firm - careful how you bite and chew these.

Absolutely delicious strawberry chocolates from Japan. The strawberry flavour was intense and only the Japanese do it right. The amazing thing is that these are not gourmet chocolates as you can buy these at the convenience store. Same goes for the LOOK chocolates below - the quality in Japan is just way better than here.
Nice high quality LOOK chocolates giving you an assortment of 4 strengths of chocolate to try. Almost like a sampler tray. I like the 40% or the 55% the best than the lighter or darkest chocolate.
Nissin Japan air dried Tonkotsu ramen noodles. These are pretty tasty noodles, but they have the mildest of the tonkotsu flavourings.
A Kyoto style miso tonkotsu ramen. This air dried noodle had some very good flavouring with only a powdered soup base. The miso flavour blended nicely with the tonkotsu base. Worth a try if you haven't tried it.

And a canned coffee, Japanese style. Nice to have every so often when having Japanese snacks!
