Sundubu Jjigae is a traditional Korean soup that features soft tofu in a spicy broth. This version from Cup Star is a spicy version with clam and tofu, and it is part of the BT21 collaboration between LINE FRIENDS and BTS. BTS, or Bulletproof Boy Scouts, is a popular Korean boy band. The BT21 collab has 8 mascot-type characters representing each of the BTS members, where the creation of the characters had direct input from the band members.

The broth smells vaguely fishy and spicy, but not in a bad way. Definitely has some clam stock, as there is a distinct clam flavour. The soup base lists pork extract, miso, gochujang seasoning, yeast extract, fish seasoning, powdered soup, kimchi seasoning, fermented seasoning, etc. There are bits of mushroom, tofu, egg, and cabbage. It was a mildly spicy-tasting soup to start, and the heat became stronger with more sips of the soup. Definite chilli flavour in this light broth. It's a fairly tasty soup, and the bits of tofu and mushroom add some different texture. The tofu bits are silky and soft, and there are bits of scrambled egg, too. The medium-thick noodles have a decent bite and chew and are good. This is a good cup of noodles and not super spicy, the way I like it.
