Ace Cook Dossari Yasai Chanpon Cup of Noodle

Hi!  Today I have a review of Ace Cook's Dossari Yasai Chanpon Cup of Noodle.  This was another cup of instant noodles I picked up in Vancouver over the summer.  It appealed to me as it looked like it was full of vegetables.  A chanpon is a pork and seafood based noodle soup that originating in Nagasaki.  It is a bit creamy and usually has a nice serving of veggies with it.

The packaging for this particular cup of noodles sure looks like half of the garden is packed in it with all of the green colors.  There is plenty of leafy greens showing on it and it is a healthier cup of noodles at only 7 grams of fat.
The front of the cup with the Dossari Yasai name on it. in bold black on white.  It shows the tasty looking noodles at the bottom with closeups of big leafy greens up top.  Looks promising!
The lid of the cup shows the noodles up close with seaweed, corn, cabbage, and crab stick on it.  The lots of vegetables is emphasized along the top with shows of cabbage, and a corn cob.  It does look pretty tasty.  The logo of the noodles is kind of interesting with its irregular shape and bold black print.  The ribbon of pink at the bottom is a nice elegant touch.

Pealing back the lid of the cup reveals a great deal of greenery.  There is corn, plenty of dehydrated cabbage , some cloud ear fungus (the brown stuff), and crab stick.  You can see the soup stock powder scattered about.
After adding boiling water and waiting three minutes the noodles are ready to eat  You can see that everything rehydrated nicely.   The soup is slightly creamy in appearance and has a bit of greenish tinge from all the cabbage.
Peeling back the lid of the cup had a light seafood broth smell waft out.  The smell was mild and quite appealing.  The soup had a seafood taste to it, but not overpoweringly so, and was very enjoyable with the noodles that also rehydrated nicely.  When I was looking for plenty of vegetables, I definitely got it in this cup.  This was a very good cup of noodles with loads of veg and some nice pieces of crab stick.  A nice change of taste.
