This is the rich soy sauce or rich shoyu flavour variant of the of the Myojo Low Carb Plus Noodle Cup line. I previously reviewed the Chicken version of this and it was actually pretty good. A lot of the details are similar about the products for engineering the low carbohydrate aspect of these noodles, so have a read of the chicken review for details here! Shoyu flavour noodles from Japan are pretty consistently good and I didn't expect any surprises and wasn't surprised.

| 3/4 view of the noodle cup. The flavour oil packet is still on the lid. |

This noodle cup has a bright red colour scheme with yellow characters that pops very nicely. The low carb noodle brand is highlighted in a large black rectangle.

Flavour oil. Add it after hydrating the noodles and mix well. Adding it earlier coats the noodles so they don't rehydrate as well.

The lid. Pretty low calorie count.

Front of the cup. Half of it is occupied by a big bowl of noodles with some pieces of meat and green onion on top of a rich looking shoyu broth. The noodles look nice and golden.

Just like the chicken version, the noodles look quite desiccated. You have meat blocks and green onions for toppings.

The noodles rehydrated for 4 minutes in boiling water and it smelled like a nice rich shoyu broth at the end. The soup and noodles tasted fine and had good chew and texture, and the toppings were good too. There was really nothing to nitpick about the taste, texture, and smell about this. Picking this or the chicken version of this low carbo noodle for a snack or light meal would go well either way. See the review of the chicken for more details about this!
